For the most up-to-date information on the 2010 Pitch Book, please visit the UNF Writers Conference Blog.
Many writers' conferences offer access to a few book agents, literary agents, book editors and/or film producers invited to the conference to take pitches from writers.
The 2010 UNF Writers Conference provides access to many carefully selected agents, editor and producers through the Book & Film Deal Connection. After the conference, all full conference attendees are invited to submit pitches to be included in a PITCH BOOK..
All agents, editors and producers receiving the Pitch Book have agreed to accept written pitch/logline submissions from conference attendees and no pitches will be unsolicited..
Professionals receiving the Pitch Book represent work, of or buy work from, fiction and non-fiction writers and screenwriters.
This is a unique opportunity for conference attendees to pitch their work in the form of a written pitch or logline. Writers will have until August 31, 2010 to refine their pitches/loglines and make submissions in the requested format to the conference director via email.
Each attendee may submit written pitches/loglines in three categories: Fiction, Non-Fiction or Screenwriting. There is a $25 fee for each pitch submitted by any one attending the full conference, and a $45 fee for those who attend the Friday Only Pass. Pitches can be paid at the time of submission after the conference.
August 31, 2010, is the deadline for your written pitch or pitches and submission forms to be received by UNF.
No pitches will be accepted after midnight August 31, 2010. The conference director will compile written pitches/loglines into a Pitch Book and send to book and screenplay agents, book editors and film producers. We encourage you to copyright your pitches.
